Well, on my quest to remove MS products from my life, I use use Gmail exculsively for my email client. It has some nice features, some of which I haven’t yet discovered.
Here is a nice complilation of gmail tools/hacks that I found on Lifehacker. You won’t find pages of stuff like this for MS Outlook

So I don’t watch too much televison anymore and find myself watching what I want on demand anyways with YouTube and Google Video. But what about full length television shows? Here is one solution:

Wow, this is cool. I can never find CD cases when I need them. Why not fold one out of recycled paper? You can even print out a custom one with track labels and the whole nine yards.

I am not a very good listener, so here are some good tips for you (and me) to become a better listener:
- Undivided attention (stare at them!)
- Be non-judgemental
- Read the speaker, see what they aren’t saying
- Be Quiet!
- Ask clarifying questions to assure understanding

Simple things:
- Carry a 3×5 card and a pen
- Transfer idea to electronic format quickly
- Have an idea warehouse (central place to put stuff you want to come back to)
- Do frequent ’sweeps’ (get rid of stuff you don’t need)
- Use small boxes (small goals)

The PocketMod is a new way to keep yourself organized. Lets face it, PDAs are too expensive and cumbersome, and organizers are bulky and hard to carry around. Nothing beats a folded up piece of paper. That is until now. With the PocketMod, you can carry around the days notes, keep them organized in any way you wish.
I played around with this for a while once. They have some new templates since I last checked them out. It would be nice if you could go in an add text before you printed it though.
