Portableapps.com is a nice site wth cool applications that run straight off your thumb drive (or iPod) but this list is much longer giving links to all different kinds of apps that are small enough to be installed on something other than your hard drive.

YouOS is a javascript based online OS is the alpha statge. It looks liek a true playground for javascript programmers. I used to be one a long long time ago.
I played around with it for a little while. Could be fun.

I now have a copy of photoshop, and found two cool tutorials. Too bad they are ‘advanced’ tutorials, and I am having a hard times doing these. Maybe it is motivation for to finally learn the ‘basics’
