First man In Space - Skydiving from the edge of space
I saw this video a long time ago. Before any space travel, NASA wanted to see if a man could survive a parachute jump from 100,000 feet. No craft could go that high except a helium balloon. He goes up (into to what is technically considered ’space’) and stepped off the platform, falling to earth. With little air resistance, he exceeded the speed of sound, the only human to do it with out using an aircraft. The Video is kindof cool.
