What podcasts I download

I have been looking for podcasts to listen on my iPod as I go to work, run, whatever. I tried books, and that’s ok for entertainment purposes, but why not learn a little too?
I was thinking about maybe listening to some academic lectures. But I did not want to necessarily sit through and listen to the normal stuff added with university lectures (announcements for example) Also, I don’t like how many of the broadcasts are an entire hour and all you know before you listen to it is the lecture date. You have no idea what they are going to be talking about. But that’s for another post.
I have found that the University of Virginia is podcasting many special lectures. Some of which are pretty cool. These are fun to browse through and download the ones that sound cool. Unlike the lectures, you have some idea what is going to be said in the podcast. Enough for you to say ‘Hey, that might be cool to listen to’. A podcast titled ‘Lecture from Oct 23,2005’ is not nearly as sexy.
Stanford University has also gotten into the act, posting a bunch of special talks, seminars, and classes. I recently listend to a talk by Hans Blix.
