I will do the reserach and come up with a lecture for said topics. There will be exam questions based on these topics, but the questions will be a very high level (read: easy)

What I need from you is ideas for those special topics. They need to satisfy the following conditions:
1. Interesting to most of the students in class.
2. It has SOMETHING to do with chemistry (even a small amount is ok) or even more generically ’science’.
3. Not too complex (talking to the dead), but not too simple (why my car tires get flatter during winter).

Please bring in your ideas (written on recycled paper) on Monday April 14. Any websites or references you might have for your topic that would help me are appreciated.

Extra credit (a few points) to viable ideas that are used.

All you have to do in mention your name.

Some professionalism is appropriate. I am not your buddy who you send email jokes too. I am your college chemistry professor. No need to send me some cool chemistry joke you got from a friend. Trust me, I saw it long before you did.

Consider it a good ‘procedure’ for doing any type of equilibrium calculation.
1. What is in the system?
2. What does it do? Write the appropriate equilbrium equation and K expression.
3. What are the initial conditions? If you don’t know them, pick a variable.
4. Which way did it shift, by how much?
5. What are the final conditions? What do you know about them?
6. Answer the question posed.
